The House of Light

I got the idea for the main shape of the lamp from my own home. The main shape is similar.

I thought this would be a dream house in the bedroom. When my daughter saw the lamp, she said it's a nice school building <3 Because of the clock. Yes, this could be the house you want to be. In my mind, mood lighting for evening relaxation. Sleeping is important and sleep time is sometimes limited. Maybe this could work as the kind of light that calms you down in the evening and gives you a good night's sleep.

Note: The inner part has a color change, so you get the same color as the base on the outside and transparency on the inside.

There are two different versions of the lower part.

You can install the desired lamp inside the shade, such as a led strip. I used an inexpensive, remote-controlled, battery-powered rgb led lamp. There are three different versions of the inner part.

1. Bamboo Lab Lamp Kit 001 model

The ventilation is implemented so that replacement air comes from the bottom and warm air leaves the chimney :) I hope this is enough. However, I recommend using low-heat-producing LED lights and some more heat-resistant filament.

2. Custom model

In this model, the floor is thicker and you can add a negative part to it to cut the right size hole for the lamp you want. The model has sample negative parts for a 70mm wired lamp.

3. Hollow

An easy, lighter and closed version of the battery powered led lamp.

The shade is quite sturdy in construction and can be pressed without a support, but I like supports so I recommend using it only on the outside. I recommend cylinders for all parts, but you can adjust them however you like. The vertical walls have reasonably good support structures to prevent swaying and falling. The thickness of the transparent end walls is 0.8 for good transparency with many materials and 1.2+ mm on the side walls, so the frame is durable and prevents light penetration. The tolerance is usually 0.4 mm for easy fitting. Smaller where needed.

I printed the latest development version of Bambu Lab pla-cf and I am quite satisfied with the surface quality and appearance. Of course, you can choose the materials as you wish. For example, a completely translucent house will certainly look amazing!
