Description

🍌 Peeled Banana Lamp 🍌

I know you all love bananas, and now you have the chance to light up your room with this stimulating statement piece.

The lamp is designed to work with a G9 LED lightbulb, otherwise, you only need 1x G9 lamp socket, 2x M3x16mm screws, 1x power cable fitting for your country, and some CA glue.

How to assemble:

Attach the endpiece to the banana; you can use a piece of 1.75mm filament as a center point.

Screw the lamp socket to the lamp plate.

Pull the power cable through the banana and attach it to the lamp socket, I used some Wago clamps for it, but there are other ways that work just as well.

Fit everything in the banana, once it sits well, fix it in place with CA glue.

Put the lampshade on, don't glue it so you can change the lightbulb if needed.

Put the shell over it, make sure it is aligned so that the banana sits nice and flush on the ground, then glue it in place.

🍌Enjoy your glowing banana!🍌

Great looking banana. I was having issues with the peel part of the file. I have tried to print it 3 times, but one of the sides of the banana peel is not having good layer composition near the top of the banana and separates. I used Tree Support and then Normal Auto. Still having the same issues. Any suggestions? I glued that part on, but would like to have a clean looking banana peel - even though that part is on the back.

If you have trouble with bead adhesion, I would recommend adding a brim, that should fix it. Or use something like 3dlac, that's what I use, and I never have problems with the parts not sticking

Its only doing it in that one area - everything else is fine. I did flip it around and starting from the base of the peel as the foundation. So far holding up but not sure how the support will look when I take it off that area.

had a issue with one of the peel supports, but that could have been printer related. Other than that, it was solid.

Great concept for a lamp! I used a yellow silk for the peel and it looks great, in my opinion! Also the wago clamps were an asset.

Very beautiful lamp. The only "defect" is that the peel is slightly loose and does not lock into the body of the banana. I will use a shim (a few turns of tape) to make the peel tighter.
