3D model description

The model consists of 5 parts:

  • Board.

  • 3 different pieces of houses.

  • Piglet (printed 3 times).

  • Big bad wolf.

The game consists of 48 challenges divided into two game modes, day and night. In the day mode, the wolf is not used. The three pigs are positioned on the board according to the challenge number, and the houses must be positioned in such a way that the pigs are not covered. In the night mode, the pieces of the boxes must cover the piglets from the big bad wolf.

In the zipped file you will find the 48 challenges with their solutions in PDF.

P.S. In some pictures of the full game, my first wolf attempt appears, which is very bad. Ignore it

Manufacturing settings

The board is printed on PETG, nozzle 0.6, layer height 0.2, 2 perimeters and 20% infill.

The other components were printed in PLA.

The piggies and the wolf with nozzle 0.4, layer height 0.16. Both have support only on the tails. The first piece I printed without brim and it came out fine, but the second piece peeled off and failed. If using brim, I recommend sanding the underside a bit so the pieces will fit together properly.

For the casitas use nozzle 0.6, layer height 0.2. The chimney has decreased layer height at the widest part to avoid overhang. I printed pieces with supports on the bottom, windows and roof and without support and I definitely keep the result without supports. To make them easy to identify, I recommend to make each house in a different color.

OPTIONAL.

I made a faster and cheaper version of the board using laser cutting. The parts are compatible. Attached is the dxf file and photo results.
