3D model description

A puzzle with tetris-like L-shape, T-shape or Z-shape blocks that makes a 6x6x6cm cube

54 blocks pieces needed

All shapes can also be used as a simplbe building blocks to play with

Print a Box, Half-box and 54 blocks

You can choose between T-shape , L-shape or Z-shape blocks

You can even mix them together. I'm 100% sure you can mix 18 of T or L shape and 36 of the L or T. Maybe 50/50 will work too. I couldn't find a solution with few solid layers of Z-shape blocks tho
There is even more possibilities. The best may be printing set of each blocks and then trying to make a cube with different numbers of each shape

The puzzle is with a box made of two parts
Half-box is on where you build a cube
Box is with some cutouts to fit a half-box there. Will be easier to hold it in hands or on the table and blocks should not fall that easly
When box is assembled the cutouts should be where the solid walls of half-box are to make sure that no block will fall out
Store it upside-down (so on the box, not on the half-box). Flip it (holding the other side) before taking blocks out

You can also print a Stand wich may be easier to use than two parts version, but you can't make a box out of it
I may try to make a lid for it if someone will need it

You can choose between tetris-like shapes (made of ‘sepparate’ cubes) or smooth shapes (on photos)

Assembling Tips:
Don't look at solution video or photos before you try to solve it by yourself first
If you will struggle for too long read the tips below
If it will still be too hard you can check photos or videos then

You can make a solid 2 layer block on both L-shapes and T-shapes, so then you just need to copy that to 4 of the rest layers
It should be possible on both shapes to make a solid 3 layers blocks too

L-shapes (easiest to assemble)
For easiest solution on each layer there should be one empty square and one that goes to next or previous layer
On photos and video you will see solid 3 layers solution

T-shapes (medium difficulty)
Easy solution: On each layer there should be two empty squares (not on corners) and 2 that goes up or down (both in the same way). Two layers will make a solid block

Z-shapes (hard difficulty)
Couldn't find an easy solution (with few solid layers or with some good, easy patterns)
On photos (and on video soon) there is one solution that I came out with

You can sell prints of this models
The only thing you need is to add an information where you get the files from (link to this page on Cults3D)

You cannot remix this model

3D printing settings

You can resize the models
Original block is 6x6x6cm
I printed one in 100% size (L-shape), one in 75% (Z-shape) and one in 50% size (T-shape)

Boxes may be best with 0.4mm nozzle, then it will print fast and print should be clean
You can try different model sizes for different nozzles to have exacly 2,3 or 4 walls (perimeters)

There are files with 9 blocks. Print 6 of it for a full set
The best would be to use at least two different colors / infill patterns. I printed smaller blocks in 6 colors and it looks nice
If you want to print 54 blocks at once it may be better to add a single block and then make 54 instances to fit the printer's bed better

Blocks may be printed without any infill or top and bottom layers (like half of the small version on photos). Use more walls then (perimeters) - it will use the least plastic and print should be the fastest
Or print with some infill (still no top and bottom layers) for decoration: the best I found (with 100% size) are *15% Aligned rectilinear, 15% Grid, 20% Triangles, 15% Honeycomb *
You can even try to print it with the infill alone. Put maybe 30-40% or even more then
