3D model description

This is a file pack for printing RC tires and rims in various sizes and styles mainly focusing on off-road use.

Included in this pack are tire options for 1/16, 1/10, and 1/8 scale RC trucks. There are both paddle and dirt tread patterns in the 2.2 MT, 2.8 MT, and 3.8 MT sizes. For the 1/10 short course there are 2.2 SC all terrain tires and also dirt tread tires. The 2.8 and 3.8 rims have separate hubs that can be replaced in case they break during bashing, they are assembled using M3 screws.

Some factory RC tires will fit on the included rims if you would rather not use the printed TPU tires. Use a decent amount of glue on either option to ensure they stay together.

NOTE: The printed TPU tires will not need tire foams. When printing the paddles make sure to mirror one out of every pair since they are directional.

3D printing settings

For all rims use PLA+ with 6 walls and 50% infill.

The tires MUST be printed in TPU so they can flex over the rim. I recommend 95a hardness or softer. Only use 2-3 walls on the tires with 20% infill so they are still soft and get traction.

Print file orientation is shown in the pictures, use supports on both the rims and tires for the best results.
