Description

"She might not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid."

3D print your own Star Wars Millennium Falcon made from 3:1 scale replica of popular toy bricks.

Printing Guide

It is recommended to use the print profile I have provided to print this model. The print profile is separated by color on each plate. I also recommend printing on a smooth surface PEI plate so your slope and tile parts do not have a textured surface. You can use whatever filament you have on hand, but I used:

  • Sunlu Gray PLA for the Dark Gray
  • Bambu Lab Gray PLA for the Light Gray
  • Paramount 3D PLA Skin - Dark Complexion for the Dark Tan
  • Sunlu Glow in the Dark Blue PLA for the Trans Blue (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C4LSVW6N/)
  • Hatchbox Transparent Black PLA for the Trans Black (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M0CS1FC/) (Warning, this stuff is very brittle, I do not recommend using in an AMS)

All parts were modeled in Solidworks by myself after measuring the actual bricks with calipers. Some parts fit great some are tight and some are loose, but overall it holds together.

Three wall loops and 10% infill on gyroid should be good but you can tweak to your liking.

Supports can be really tricky and difficult to remove. I recommend the settings I have in the Print Profile.

Assembly

Follow the instructions below to assemble. Pretty simple.

That about covers it, I think… Happy printing and building!

I had to glue four cubes so they wouldn't fall. The result is nice. Thanks.

It turned out very well. I didn't have the exact colors on hand that you used but I made do. Most parts fit fine...sometimes a little snug. In a couple cases I had to file down a couple of the plugs a little, but no big deal. Fine job on the modeling and presentation.
