WHAT IS THE SHADOW PROJECTOR?
Turn off the lights, find a dark place, put aside your fears, turn on your imagination, and Bring the Night to Life, with Projections, and the Shadow Projector.
The Shadow Projector, is an assemblable device designed to turn your cell phone into an image projector.
Its curious shape is modeled and developed to serve as a support, or base, for your cell phone, and at the same time, be able to use and take advantage of its light capacity, to generate incredible images made of light, and darkness.
The shadow projector has a light redirection system, which is responsible for bringing the light from the flashlight of your cell phone, to a plate, or "projection", which is responsible for giving shape and consistency.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH THE SHADOW PROJECTOR?
The shadow projector uses a system of "PROJECTIONS", to generate all kinds of images provided with a quality and dimension that will leave you with your mouth open.
From a wall, in a room. A corner, in a living room. Or a wall, in a building or dwelling. For the shadow projector, they're just unexplored boundaries.
Find a dark place, turn off the lights, turn on your imagination, and be amazed by the magic of the Shadow Projector.
HOW DOES THE SHADOW PROJECTOR WORK?
There are three important points to keep in mind to obtain an image made of light and shadows, sharp, detailed and of an excellent quality.
A light source.
A plate, stencil, or "PROJECTION" that allows light to pass through with a particular shape, at a particular distance.
And a dark, flat surface.
For a shadow cast on a wall to be sharp, and detailed, the source figure that gives it its shape must be at a "considerable" distance from the light source.
If the source figure is too close, or too far away from the light source, the shadow that will be generated will be distorted, and its shape will be lost.
The Shadow Projector, is designed to attach and hold small platelets, or PROJECTIONS, at a fixed and optimal distance, necessary to obtain detailed and amazing images, without losing quality, or sharpness.
TIPS FOR EXCELLENT IMAGE QUALITY
The image generated by this projection, requires a specific point to be observed in the most optimal way possible.
Therefore, the result we obtain, will be relative to the conditions with which we generate the image.
- In order to be able to find that point, dark and wide places or surfaces are recommended.
The darker the environments, the better definition will be obtained.
A flashlight can be useful as a light source, pay attention to the amount of leds used since each led serves as an additional light source, and the more leds the light source has, the more the figure we project will be distorted.
It is recommended to use single led flashlights, or the old bulb.
The cell phone flashlight is the most indicated to fulfill the function of light source, and not only because it has a single led, but also because the projection itself was designed to be used with it.
It is recommended to pay attention to the moment when we manipulate lights, in the dark.
In the dark, our eyes gain sensitivity, and can be hurt by the lights of our light source.
For best results, it is recommended to avoid light losses coming from our light source, and in addition, pay attention to light pollution.
If you want to get the best results, I recommend the Shadow Projector, which was designed "exclusively" to accomplish this task.
