Description

This is a custom stock for the Henry AR7 US Survival .22LR

It will bolt on the receiver with a ½" long ¼"x20 stove bolt.

Both with and without holes are provided.

I printed with both PLA and PLA+ without issue, however ABS would certainly last longer and would likely hold up better in temperature extremes.

I recommend printing as a full single print if possible.  It fits nicely on a Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus (as a point of reference).

If you need to cut it for smaller printers (I have printed them on Sv06, for example), I recommend adding dowel connectors but don't use the printed dowels.  Instead, use hardwood dowels for added sheer strength.  I glued mine together using Krazy glue (I found the gel works better) and let it cure overnight.  You can fill the seam with body fill, or simply cut a piece of your filament, lay it on the seam and use a heat gun to melt it into place.

Being that its only a .22lr, I dont think you need to go crazy with the infill.  80% adds some nice weight to the stock, but I think even 30% would be suffice.  I will leave that up to you.

As for supports, I do painted on, and I ONLY put supports for part that hugs the trigger guard, and a couple lines where the receiver gets installed.  If you allow for automatic supports, there's a good probability you will end up with supports jammed up in areas you cant remove.

This is my first “good” custom stock, more planned (including one inspired by the original stock, but more streamlined and to include a couple basic survival items).
