Description

Model

I wanted to make a stable but beautiful building plate holder that, apart from being practical, can show the advantage of multi-color printing. I looked over the offer and made my own version by combining their advantages. Having refined the first version, the second version has already met my expectations, so I would like to share it with you.

Easily holds up to 3 plates for the A1 mini printers. If you are looking for a plate holder for the X1 / P1 series or A1, you can find it at the link below. The inscription and logo are made in such a way that they are not visible when printing in one color, but can be easily handled in Bambu Studio when printing in multiple colors.

Try it and please let me know what you think! I hope you like it.

If you like what I do, please support my work by sharing and downloading! Thank you!

Compatible:
A1 mini

Update 02.06.2024. - V3.1

  • I modified some roundings and increased the length of the tray space by 1 mm. Although I didn't experience it when printed on another printer, they found that the tray stuck a little in place. I fixed the problem.

Update 02.08.2024. - V3.2

  • I made it easier to insert the building plates and increased the size of the Bambu Lab logo on the side. I also made the 5 slot versions and single color versions print profile.

Update 02.10.2024. - V3.2 - A1 mini

  • I also made a version suitable for the A1 mini, thanks again to Sam Bossert for the A1 mini plate dimensions! From there it was easy, apart from the width, the plate holder is completely identical to the holder for the X1 / P1 series and A1.

Update 02.21.2024. - V3.3 - A1 mini 5x

I received a request to make a 5-slot version, so I made it for you. I hope you like it!

A1 mini plate doesn't completely fit. Back of it catches on the holder and lifts it a bit so it is not level.

Hello! Thanks for the feedback! Could you describe the problem a little more precisely, maybe send a photo. I would like to understand exactly and fix the holder if something is really wrong. So far, there has been no such feedback. Thanks for helping!

Hi, most people place plates "handle up" like you have on your pictures. But I've used it placing them handle to the side since it felt more natural for my setup. If the piece was a few mm lower it would work perfectly used that way too.

I think I understand it. The reason why the handle is up is that the horizontal version (191 + 2 mm) does not fit on the construction plate. It cannot be printed on the A1 printer.

Of course, I can make it, no problem, I have to check whether it can be printed on A1 mini. If I have some time tonight, I'll try it! 😉

It wasn't easy, but I managed to shrink it so that it would fit on the A1 mini build plate. I hope you like it! If you print it out, please post some pictures! Thanks!
