Description

Kansas City Chiefs 4 Times Super Bowl Champs.

This is similar to my other Chiefs lightboxes but I wanted commemorate the years that they won.

I have printed out quite a few of these for friends and family. they always come out absolutely perfect! I highly recommend getting COB lights as opposed to regular LED. They put out a pure white light and are very bright. I get them from Ali Express for less than 5 bucks for 2 meters which is just enough to go around the inside twice.

Printed a few of these for friends and already have some requests for additional prints. Used a cheap 1m tape light from Amazon. When this is ran around the interior it leaves about 9.5 in of USB cable out of the side.

love how these turned out even though I had an adhesion issue. I'm guessing I should have shut the aux fan off to prevent cooling to quickly from what I've been reading. I also think that the base layer could have been a little thicker. I did print both versions the slightly darker one (2nd from last) is plate 2 and the last one is plate 1.

Wow looks like you're dealing with some serious adhesion issues. What's your build plate looking like? Are you cleaning it with IPA or dish soap?

any tips for first layer? everything but the bottom of the arrowhead it’s self is bunching up.

dry your filament, wash your build plate with dish soap and hot water, don't use IPA. make sure you run auto leveling before the print. this has been printed hundreds of times so it's not an issue with the model. usually if there's a problem it's related to the filament or build plate. hope that helps!

Hi. I would like to make this for a friend (I am not A KC fan). I am confused as to the 3 plates of files to print. Do I need to print all 3? What are their purpose if I do? I am a TOTAL noob still. This is an incredible model just the same and thank you for sharing your gift of talent!

You print the 3 plates separately and then assemble them following the instructions included above the print profiles. You have to print the 3 separately so you won’t need supports and can add the lights before closing everything up.
