3D model description

The Trick and Treat Castle
This is an interactive display and game model that dispenses candy! Buttons and levers disguised as windows and pillars open hidden compartments to release the candy, which will slide to the front door for collection. The buttons and levers have designated locations but can be connected to theoretically any compartment, or be left as dummy switches, making a unique and secret layout every time! Set up bets with your friends to see who can find a particular candy first, or hide small items like mini hot sauce or plastic spiders for a trick surprise!

Specs
The castle features a number of window buttons that can be pushed in and pillar levers that can be pulled out, which are attached to the hidden candy compartments with rubber bands or string to release the candy! The floor is inclined so that the candy will naturally slide down to the door to be collected by the players. There are 14 small compartments, which can each hold a fun-sized candy bar, and 2 large compartments, which can each hold a king-size bar (depending on the type). Obviously, you can also put multiple smaller candies inside, or anything else of approximately the same size.

The castle comes out to about 60cm to the tallest point, so it's fairly big!

State of the Model
I unfortunately learned about the Halloween contest a bit late so I didn't have as much time as I would've liked to polish everything; hence why my printed model image is a prototype! The model in its current state should be fully functional, but it may require some fine-tuning. I will be testing it myself soon, and will also be working on reducing overhangs and splitting up the building parts into smaller pieces for easier printing. In the meantime, if you do end up giving it a try, please let me know how it does! ^-^;

NOTE 2023.10.30: There's still a couple pieces that need to be parted out and uploaded, and I also plan to make a guide on how to set it up, but it's like 4am where I live and I need to sleep lol. I'll get everything updated in the next couple days as I have time!
