This 3D-printable accessory is engineered to accommodate any standard 120mm fan, providing excellent air circulation within the kennel. For optimal functionality, I highly recommend a specific water-resistant fan, enhancing its suitability for various environments. This fan, available here on Amazon, is particularly user-friendly, featuring a built-in fan controller with 10 speed settings and a switch. It can be powered through a 12v barrel connector for over 50% greater performance or a 5v USB connection, offering flexibility for different power setups.

For installation, you will need to print two brackets for a single 120mm fan setup, or four if you opt for a dual fan configuration. I recommend using a color of your choice in PLA for the front plates. However, for the back plate, which will be zip-tied directly to the kennel door or wall, a more durable engineering material is advisable to ensure reliability and strength. PLA Tough, PETG, Nylon, or PC are suitable choices, with Nylon or PC providing a longer-lasting frame. Although using these stronger materials might seem like overkill, I find them extremely beneficial for frequent use.
