I've been thinking about what to make for the floral spring contest.. and i ran into a tiktok video of an aloe-vera pen plant.. so i thought i'd take inspiration from it and came with the idea of the lucky bamboo pen plant..
Lucky bamboo plant has been around for awhile now and giving someone a different number of bamboo plant signifies different meaning.. the 3 bamboo pen plant i made signifies happiness, wealth, and longevity.. that's what chatgpt said..

I made the pen design to fit the Pilot G-2 refill..

The pen comes in 4 sections:

1. the base.. i made 2 version.. a big base and a small base..
2. the tip of the pen
3. the body of the pen
4. the tail with twisted plant at the end

The tip and the body snaps into place while the tail needs to be glued to the body.. this would make changing an empty pen refill easier..
I made the base flat so that the base could be put inside a clear short wine glass like i did.. glue it inside the glass and fill it with pebbles.. i just brought the pebbles at my local pet store.. I also made a bigger size base for a slighty bigger vase.. You should pick a vase before printing the the base.. so you'll know which base to print..

I made the STL in multicolor if you want to print them in multicolor.. or you could do like i did.. and paint them manually with POSCA marker pen..

The body and tail has several different version.. so it doesnt look universal..

FYI.. I might make an 8 plant bamboo since it is regarded as the luckiest number because it sounds like "prosperity" in Chinese
