Hello !

This mini footswitch allows for controlling games, CAD, DAW, etc. It uses an Arduino Leonardo powered by 4x 30mm buttons (complete switch size 45x14mm). I use SMD type micro switches measuring 12 x 12 x 7.3 mm.

In my case, with a semi-paralysis of my left hand, I use it to add Xbox controller inputs (DPAD) because some games do not accept hybrid inputs (keyboard + controller).

I use another one connected to my workshop's mini PC to control Parsec functions, which is connected to my triple desktop PC screens. The macros help me switch screens, go fullscreen, disconnect, and mute. There are numerous tutorials available for managing keyboard inputs on an Arduino.

The files include several versions:

With hot insert (M2 / M3) or screwed directly into the plastic.

A version with the addition of an ON/OFF switch.

The 4 micro switches and the micro USB connector are screwed into the plastic (M3).

There are three different button heights for ergonomics, the thickest for the top, two thinner ones for the left and right switches, and the thinnest for the bottom one.

At the back, you have the option to add a GX16 connector to connect a second footswitch.

Everything is printed in PLA and uses M3 screws for assembly and 4 M2 screws for closing the case.

You can print the button in TPU (Not tested).
