3D model description

OSTFRIESLANDHONIG.DE

**Interlocking system for the production of honeycomb honey in a jar!

Universally applicable for honey and jam jars (16 jars per carrier)

For the Segeberger polystyrene hive in German standard size (DNM). Other hives on request!

The use of rubber bands is optional. They make transportation easier and hold the jars in place if the hive should tip over

Place the (half) frame on the honey chamber in spring and the ladies will do the rest

Can be printed with most 3D printers on the market! Maximum size of the parts 219mm x 219mm!

Now comes the fun part:

You need:

  • Base plate x 4

  • Connector x 1

  • Screw connection x 1

Additional:

  • Rubber bands, optional (household goods)

  • Countersunk screws 3x20mm (or similar, see info)

Instructions:

OSTFRIESLANDHONIG.DE

  1. put the parts together as shown in the pictures and screw the connector in the middle

  2. then screw the support plate to the underside of the (half) polystyrene frame. (You can of course also use larger frames, but the half frame is sufficiently high)

Optional:

  1. thread rubber bands into the openings provided. (see picture)

  2. connect both rubber bands together. (knots, rakes, etc.)

Give the starter aid:

To get the ladies started right away, heat the bottom of the glass with a lighter and attach a small piece of center wall to the bottom. We have also seen that you can put a little liquid beeswax in the glass. This should make the glass wild. We look forward to seeing your ideas and finished products!

Info:

The screw holes are designed for screws with a diameter of 3mm (countersunk head, length >15mm). You do not need to use every screw hole, every second one is perfectly adequate! (reserve)
