Description

Beautifull wall Moon lamp.
It is already cut in 4, i print it on my k1 max 3d printer due to big build plate with total diameter of 540mm, you need to have the 3d printer be in a good skew setup in order to match all 4 parts together nicely.

It has a channel where the wires can hide behind.

Printed at 20 %infill, 3 walls, i had also ironing on, i think it should work without also.

It needs support active on all 4 parts because in the middle of the moon is a cubic cut space for cables.

If printed in one piece it should work without supports.
It can be resized to match any printer. When resizing, i recommend to resize only x and y, not z, it is made for a max of 10mm width led strip.
If you want any small modifications contact me and i will do it for you for free.
Package contains 5 stls, and one 3mf file (4 stls with moon cut in 4, one stl in one piece)
In the photos i had a 24v led band, the light is a little too much, but with led bands with controls it will look awesome with a little less light.

I put it on the wall with double sided tape.
For any questions write me a message, thanks!

hey love the design! Just one idea. Could you make it so the middel of the moon is lower than the led lights instead of higher? This way the lights would illuminate the entire surface I think? Would be eager to test it out!

Yes, but the point is to not illuminate the hole moon, so you get that effect of an lets say "eclipse"

Love the design, could you please make a version that's 256x256mm with 10mm light strips to fit Bambu's printers? I know I could resize it along x and y as you suggested but would really rather have a moon with a perfect spherical shell.

The hole moon to be 256 or every piece at 256? Because it will work with just resizing in slicer on xy on all parts. Am i missing something?

Every piece at 256 maximum. Resizing a sphere along only 2 dimensions would result in an oblong shape.

Hello, good morning, I am printing the large moon and I see that the parts do not have joining pieces. If you would add them to the design, the assembly would be much better, since I see that the joining will have to be done by gluing the parts.

Hi, thanks for the sugestion, i will think of somethinglike making a half "H" channel in each part and to be able to be put together with an actual "H" part. Like that each side will have like a "T" channel. I will try this but i am not currently home.
