3D model description

The seagull, dear to the people of Marseille, takes on a poetic aspect linked to the sea, mischief, and sometimes even violence. The king of the air is respected by all the birds, rodents, and fishermen of the city. In Marseille, it is commonly
called by its Provençal name 'Gabian,' probably in reference to the tax collector of the salt tax. It is the customs officer, the thief of the city, because the tax on fish is inevitable.

The model is optimized for FDM printing, the minimum printing volume for is 20cm long, 7cm wide, 17cm high.

3D printing settings

Print using standard printing settings. All pieces are optimized for easy printing. No brim or support is needed except for the body part. Change colors by pausing your printer at specific layers if you don't have a multicolor printer. Printing the black parts with a 0.05mm reduction (horizontal reduction in Cura) can help avoid friction on the automaton. All pieces are
already well-oriented for your slicer. After printing, trim the beak's thin wall, then insert it into the body. Follow the assembly instructions for full assembly. A paper pen can serve as a good lubricant for plastic pieces.
