Description

Give your drinks some character! Let others know how you’re feeling with these Emoji Caps for your soda can!

Having a good day? Show it with a smiling emoji cap. Excited to be having a soda? Protect your drink with a food savoring face or smiling eyes grin. Feeling grumpy today? Cover your can with an angry face. Keep it cool with sunglasses or goofy with a winking grin. Don’t want to share your soda during flu season? Warn everyone off with a facemask or sick emoji cap. Surprise someone special with a soda decorated with a kiss or smitten cat. Show your mischievous side with a poop or devil emoji. Be a trend setter with the new Bitcoin, Cool Devil, Ghost Cat, and Mischievous Black Cat emojis. Or wow your friends by creating your own emoji as unique as you are! The possibilities are endless!

PLEASE POST YOUR PRINTS! I’D LOVE TO SEE WHAT YOU COME UP WITH!

I’m happy to add more facial features or backgrounds. Please post requests/suggestions in comments. Keep it clean please!

Note: Sized to fit a 12 oz can similar in shape/size as Red Bull.

Printing Recommendations:

Print each Emoji Cap using the .stl files as explained in the PDF guide. The .stl files here can be used to create more than 30 of the standard Emojis. Or mix and match the designs to create your own unique cap!

In the photos, the caps and facial features were printed separately and then glued together. However, full emojis can be printed as one with the AMS and/or painted after printing.  (I created these before I had a Bambu. The prints shown are from an old Qiditech. I'll reprint on the Bambu and post new photos and a Bambu profile soon.)

Printing the solid cap upside down eliminates the need for supports. This may change if you print the facial features and cap together, depending on how you orient them in your slicer.

Note: As printed, these are NOT watertight, due to the limits of FDM printing with PLA. If you would like a watertight Emoji Cap for your soda can, I recommend scaling the model down by 2-4% and printing in a flexible, food-safe, watertight plastic/silicone. If you are able to print a watertight cap, please post a photo!
