Original model is created by Thomas_63847 on Pintables. This Silica Dry Pod is for the standard AMS unit and will work with the Hydra Mod as well. This Silica Dry Pod is designed to work with a Rectangle hydrometer to monitor and display the humidity levels in your unit. Can print lid in different colors to have a two tone look. Works great at maintaining the proper low humidity levels in your AMS unit keeping your filament dry and improving your print quality for amazing printing results! Works much better than the pouches/ packets. Would highly recommend checking out Silica Dry Pods for your AMS unit to not only help improve filament longevity but also the quality of your prints. If you ever see your AMS Cabin Humidity drop below Green this will help fix that issue and maintain a proper low level humidity. Prefect to print with your favorite material, if you use a high heat material you can also use these Silica Dry Pods to re-dry your silica beads.

This design does not require a support to print if you have your printer setting dialed in, however for those that would like the easy of mind please use plate #1 that includes support, for those that would like to print without support use plate #2. For those that would like to make a two tone one please use plates #3 and #4.

Printed at 0.16 Optimized on a P1S. It's my fault for not using the support profile (Lesson Learned! If there's a profile with supports, use it!) but there was some de-lamination and drooping of the edge layers at the top edge of the hygrometer insert box, and the sides where they came down to the clip cutouts. There was some flex in the sides and back plate when the hygrometer was inserted, and I wonder if the tolerances are just a little too tight. The unit holds about 2.9 oz of desiccant.
