Description

I created these Key Tags as a simple way to label keys with text and color-code them as well. I've provided 206 3MF and 206 MK4 g-code files with pre-defined text to get you going straight away! Choose from automobile makes and models, rooms, tools, equipment, and more. Or use your own text (see below)!

These Key Tags print quickly and can be printed in one color or two colors (via a color change in your slicer). The text isn't in the STL or STEP file - it's part of the 3MF file and can be edited and resized in your slicer (photos with instructions for PrusaSlicer and Bambu Studio are provided).

I've included a "keyTagYourText-1c.3mf" file that you can copy and edit in PrusaSlicer to edit the text and a "keyTagNoText-1c.3mf" that you can copy and edit in Bambu Studio to add your own text. Please see the photos for details on using your slicer to print or modify these key tags - as there are some limitations if you're not using PrusaSlicer. Cura slicer supports the color change for the text but doesn't appear to have an easy way to edit the text. Bambu Studio doesn't appear to support the color change using these PrusaSlicer 3MF files - though you can change the color of the text in Bambu Studio if you have an AMS for multi-color printing. To edit the text in Bambu Studio, it appears that you must start with no text and add it via Bambu Studio.

A STEP file is provided in case you wish to modify the design.

The provided STL file is intended to be printed in PLA or PETG (or pretty much any other material) and does not require supports.

PrusaSlicer 3MF files are provided for generic PLA for 206 pre-defined labels (or you can use PrusaSlicer or Bambu Studio to enter your own text). G-code files are provided for the Original Prusa MK4.

The Key Tags seen in the photos were printed on an Original Prusa MK4 with FilaCube PLA in various colors, Sunlu Green Glow-in-the-Dark PLA, and silk PLA using Input Shaper with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height with a 15% gyroid infill and a concentric top and bottom fill pattern.
