In this youth work 'Puberty', the sculptor seeks to provide the simplicity, purity and simplicity of the young woman's body again. In that respect, it gives, in comparison with its other works, a separate view of the female nude. 'Puberty' was a wedding gift from Ernest Wijnants to his friend, the painter Ernest Albert. Albert painted turn a portrait of Ernest Wijnants 1940.
The 'Slave Hat "in 1917, stripped of her clothes, crying in her nakedness greater vulnerability than the pictures' Bacchante' and 'Grace'. The 'Slave Hat "is part of a larger group of sculptures" The adornment of Princess'. These statues belong, like the previous one, to the private property of the family Speth from Kapellen.
