3D model description

This is a living hinge printed in TPU (Flexfill 98A). I have used this in some of my other designs ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2867440 ) and have full confidence that the TPU is strong enough and durable enough as a hinge solution.

I have included two different thicknesses since I found that some of the slots could fit 0.5mm and some only 0.4mm thick hinges.

DIRECTIONS:
Fit hinge into slot. Make sure it seats properly.
Bend hinge away from the slot and squeeze glue into the slot where the oval hole of the hinge is. See photo
After the first side has dried attach control surface to the wing and bend as previously (the tailplane is a little tight) and repeat.

Take care to ensure you don't inadvertantly glue the control surface to the rest of the wing. One way is to gently move it up and down until the glue cures.

I printed at 0.1mm layer height.

I have used a gel version of superglue to glue these in place but epoxy should do also.

This model came with the Prusa i3 Mk2 and it's the only one I have from 3DLabs but if you have an other model it would be nice to know if these fit those too.
