3D model description

Intended for 3d print.

UPDATE 20221119: A customer requested I upload a set of the Ashigaru without swords. This has now been included in the product.

This model pack contains a regiment of Ashigaru, commoner-class infantry used between the 14th and 19th century. The Ashigaru made up the bulk of japanese armies during the Sengoku and Tokugawa Shogunate eras. They were early adopters of firearms, and Japanese armies may at times have used muskets in greater numbers than even the contemporary Europeans.

The regiment includes 11 unique soldier models in total, including two commanders. The model pack also includes two round bases, a musket (called a Tanegashima), a katana and a wakizashi. See image gallery for a depiction of all included models.

3D printing settings

Intended for print in 28mm scale.
Models are all prescaled to approximately 28mm scale.
Relatively high printer settings are recommended (0,08 mm layer height, 20 percent infill).
Printing time depends entirely on hardware, selected size, selected model(s) selected settings et cetera. A rough estimate is 30 min printing time for a single model (body+base) at default scale.

Update 20231208: Added pre-supported versions of the musketeers with sword sidearms.
