Tactical kneecaper conversion kit for AS01/02/03

Hey,

Today I want to share a little project I had : a shorty conversion kit for my AS02 (it will fit all the striker based rifles). Inspired by the Kneecaper (basically an as03 handguard+barrel mounted on an as02 stock). This kit allows you to build your own kneecaper but a bit more tacticool : Mlok slots, top rails & more will be quiet perfect for all your speed bolt action games!

HARDWARE NEEDED :

-1x Carbon tube outer diameter 28mm, inside 26mm, length of your choice

-Glue

-Cutting tools

Once printed, here's the procedure, step by step :

1) Remove your stock outer barrel and handguard, let your inner barrel and hop up inside

2) Screw the outer barrel base on the receiver, gently but not overtight.

3)Insert the carbon tube in the outer barrel base until it pushes onto the hop up unit : this ensure the hop up unit is straight, in the barrel and cylinder axis, and has no movement at all. Then, mark with tape how deep the tube should go in the barrel base and unscrew the base+tube. Then glue it together using the tape as a limit and a protection against the leaking glue on the tube. EASY!

4) Define how long your outer barrel must be, then cut it, straight, and insert+glue the threaded barrel cap that is also a barrel spacer for the end of the inner barrel.

5) Once dry, cut the inner barrel if needed, then install the handguard and ENJOY! (the new hanguard stays in place just by one bottom screw and the barrel!) Outer barrel need to be mounted before the handguard, that just slide onto.
