3D model description

12/11/22 UPDATE: Added two more .stl files with a 120mm tray for regular and encapsulated tokens. This wider version is better IMHO since it holds either a location card OR two standard sized cards. This way you can use these for all your settlement locations, innovation cards, and even use them with your hunt board.

The last five images show this version of the design. For these just download the files with 120mm in the title

Happy Holidays to all you KDM gamers out there! I had fun with this KDM tray design, and am happy to share it with everyone.

The idea behind this design is to reduce the table space needed for settlement location cards. What's original with this design is,

1) This system of trays is modular. Just attach more of them as your settlement builds more locations. No need to use a huge board like some of the solutions online. Each tray includes holes sized for 6x3mm magnets so they all hold together. Recommend using at least 4-6 of the magnets for each tray.

2) Since I had to extend the rear of the trays to keep them stabilized, I ended up using that space for token storage.

Note: There are two versions of this design. One holds the cardboard KDM tokens without plastic coin capsules, and the other is larger and holds 16 encapsulated tokens.

For my FDM test prints, I used the following settings:
- 0.2mm layers
- 20% triangular infill
- Brim skirt
- Tree support from baseplate only. This is optional and may not even be needed for the magnet holes
