3D model description

It's vintage Boba Fett ... now with swivel-arm, '84-era G.I. Joe styling!

Never content with just 5-points of articulation in my old Kenner Star Wars figures, I always wished they could move and pose like an ARAH G.I. Joe. Now, with the miracle of 3-D printing, that dream is arguably just as stupid, but a lot more accessible!

Using the terrific original Kenner figure scan sold by Desert Octopus here:
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/star-wars-bobafett-kenner-style-vintage-3d-stl-obj
... I completely re-fashioned him as an authentic O-ring custom figure, complete with swivel-arms, rivet joints at the shoulders and elbows, bending knees, a detachable jet-pack, and re-styled blaster (to better fit G.I. Joe hands).

Please note -- finished construction of this figure will require additional hardware, including T-hook, O-ring, screws, and rivets. All of these items can be found through the links below. I don't have any connection to these sellers -- these are simply what I use for my own custom G.I. Joe builds.

NECESSARY HARDWARE:
For rivets, I recommend these:

For O-rings, T-hooks, and screws, I recommend these:

3D printing settings

To date, I've only printed this figure on an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro resin printer. I like to print him in white (I've been using Anycubic ECO resin), then stain the pieces before curing. For white resin, I print him at .02 mm layer height, with a 2-second exposure time.

I orient the arm and leg pieces at 60 degrees, and have included separate STL files of these pieces in that orientation, including supports. I'm also including the pieces separately, so that you may configure them however they work best in your setup, but these are the trickiest pieces to get right. All of the joints/connections are optimized to eliminate (or at least greatly reduce) the need for sanding.
