3D model description

This mask project only for experimental use. I didn't make any medical tests. In theory it has more air sealing capacity than regular surgical masks. Important fact is that with that radial fans you can breathe easily. This heavy weight device is not fashionable or comfortable in my opinion honestly. But breathing easily matters. I maded this with TPU and with 1 mm nozzle size but with PLA and with 0.4 mm nozzle size; this design could be more lightweight and effective. However it is still lighter than my headphones. And that inside air capacity is a good suspension for vacuum effect of fans and breathing and that much area for mouth is comfortable too. Only issue could be people can find that socially weird.

You can print it without support setting. You need to cut the thin part before the outside radial fan. It is just a minor supporting part for making the design useful without choosing the support setting. I added my .gcode settings for both 0.4 mm nozzle and PLA and with 1 mm nozzle with TPU.

I used two 50 x 50 x 15 mm 5V radial fans. And i designed filtered fan covers for that radial fans. You can cut filters from surgical masks for it with cutting template at the files i added. You also need hot silicone gun, soldering iron, some surgical mask strings, some cable, USB cable and powerbank with 5V output.

I welded fans to fan slots carefully with soldering iron and its knife tip. I welded base part of fan covers on fans. I welded around cables coming outside from two holes of that design which are from inner radial fan. I also welded and repaired some little printing issues. But i didn't weld top fan cover part for filter replacement. I turned three times around face connecting sides with hot silicone gun and i weld that three line together with soldering iron for creating more ergonomic shape. You need to connect and calibrate carefully surgical mask strings for balancing enough tightness for carying the mask and enough loose for comfort.

Don't forget to keep surgical mask in your inventory while using it. You can use that if it has low battery or if any issues happen. Don't use that on rainy days. You can try to design more simple, lightweight and fashionable one from that prototype.
