3D model description

Hello print friends. ;-)

Here I have for you the name "Kai" as LED lamp.

Each letter consists of two parts, the letter and the inlay. The letter can be printed in any x color. However, for the inlay, I recommend transparent to get a nice illumination.

The letters are about 16cm high and 3.5cm thick. Of course you can scale everything in the slicer, but make sure you don't make it too small. The smaller the letters, the more difficult it will be to glue the LED strip.

Each letter has an opening, so the LED strip can be glued in the round once. I always start at the top and then go all the way to the end and back at the bottom. For letters like a D, B or O, I put a little loop.

RGB Strip (Affiliate)

LED Strip 12m, Maxuni 5050 RGB LED strip with 60 thousand colors and 216 LEDs, APP control and remote control, Self-adhesive light chain for TV, living room, bedroom etc

If you want another name or font, please feel free to write me a message.

3D printing settings

In principle, the settings are not necessarily to use like mine. I rather print in rough quality, that's enough for my purposes. ;-)

I use "Cura" as slicer and print with a Geeetech A30 Pro (Affiliate) with 0.30mm thickness. Thickness bottom/top 1.2mm and 10% infill. In addition, with 215 degree Nozzle Temp. and 60 degree Bed Temp.

Of course, the printing time then also depends on the selected settings. You should already plan a few hours ;-)
