3D model description

Friends, it took a while, but here we are! after a few months of work on the design, print tests, adjustments, more tests, field tests (with my daughters) tests with friends, family, and others, I must tell you that it is a success! the possibilities are endless, not only in the concept of pixel art, but in addition to developing creativity, we give you several options so you can take full advantage of this beautiful game!.

I recommend that you do a test print of the pixels before sending to make a large production, the same have a measure of 7.3mm x 7.3mm x 2mm but as in my printer I use 0.6mm peak maybe you should adjust the tolerance.

the board your holes are 8mm x 8mm in size.

I included two boards, one 8x8 pixels, and one 16x16, if you have a larger printer and would like to print a larger board, you can contact me and I can gladly make you a design of the size you need.

This kit includes:

-Board of 8x8 pixels

-Board of 16x16 pixels

-Board frame 8x8

-Frame for 16x16 board

-Square pixel

-Curved pixel

-Round pixel

-Asterisk (to play tic tac toe) watch the videos!

-Funnel to collect the blocks (includes standard screw thread like soda bottles)

-Shovel to collect the blocks

You finish playing with your pixels and you say, "Oh, shit! Now how do I put all this together? You've sold me a problem?

This is where I, being a parent, and being a person who is always looking to make things easier thought.

How could we make the end of the experience of playing with pixels not be torture?

In my case, I use some containers where soy sauce usually comes, which has the same thread as the bottles of soft drinks or soda, then, you can get some PET tubes that are used to inflate them with heat and make the bottles, simply screw the funnel, and with the help of the stick to the edge of the table you put them together in a twist.

But as they say "a picture is worth a thousand words" a youtube video is worth a million words:

3D printing settings

All printed flat, no supports, layer height 0.22, 40% infill, 1 perimeter, 2 top layers, 2 bottom layers.

The funnel thread I advise to print it in a higher quality layer height, and then you can glue it with superglue or cyanoacrylate type glue. this way you avoid the use of supports and the finish is much better.
