3D model description

This is a realistic charcoal grill with free rolling wheels, a twistable air vent on the lid, and a removable grate on the inside. It stands about 11.5 inches tall or 29 cm once fully assembled.

If you'd like to see a demonstration, I've made a fun reel with it on my Instagram page, which you can view here:Link

UPDATE (2022-06-13): Charcoal files and photos have been added. There are two options available - 60 pieces of charcoal singles and a one-piece plate insert with attached charcoal. You can print either or both if you prefer. If printing the singles, use a brim around the pieces, otherwise no other support is needed for any of the charcoal options. For the one-piece charcoal, I made color changes at 2.15 mm and 7.85 mm layer heights.

UPDATE: I've added a new zip file ('All Parts Oriented stl files.zip') that contains all the stl files pre-rotated into their optimal printing positions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using these files over the files in the original stl zip folder because it will save you time.

Another zip file contains the .3mf files ('All Parts 3mf Files.zip') with several parts set up on a build plate together along with my support and seam settings. The last zip file ('All Parts stl Files') contains all the individual .stl files for each part, but you will need to rotate the parts yourself in your slicer software.

Recommended Print Settings
Layer Height:
1. Main body shell: 0.20 mm
2. Handles, legs, vent, inside grate, leg grate pieces: 0.10 mm
3. Wheels, caps, vent bolt: 0.10 mm
4. Charcoal: 0.15-.20 mm

Print Time: About 49 hours

Brim Use: Use a brim for the legs, inside grate, leg grate pieces, and front leg foot cap, and charcoal singles (if using).

Infill: 10% on the main lid and base, 10% on the charcoal, 20% on everything else.

Material: I recommend using PETG for the grates because they are delicate, but PLA can be used for the whole model.
