3D printer file info

3D model description

This is a screen accurate 3d model from Obi-Wan Kenobi, Limited Series. This Jedi viewscreen model will allow you to install electronics to make it fully functional. Or you can print it and build a static model as well. Planning to share circuit schematic & assembly instructions ASAP for free.

Recommended BOM List:

  • 5mm Metal LED Bezel holder x 6. (You can print the 3D model included)
  • 5mm Water clear LED x 6.
  • M3x10mm Screws x 3.

Obi-Wan.Kenobi.Jedi.Viewscreen.Model-v1.Optionals.zip includes an internal holder for a regular cellphone as example. You can build your own using that as a start or base.

You are only receiving the STLs files to print the model, not a fully functional Jedi datapad. It is a DIY project. You will receive a .zip file. STLs files were "oriented" due to my experience printing them. Some of the STLs files will require support. Will do my best to assist you in printing and assembling the viewscreen. I tested all files and assembled one for myself. Some STLs files have an interlocking mark for easy assembly.

3D printing settings

Print Display.Panel.stl over clean glass to get a smooth finish.

I strongly recommend to print Internal.Case.stl in TPU material or similar.
