i am a beginer 3D modeler that just started doing resin printing. this is my attempt to make a big object using a small resin printer (Anycubic's Photon Mono 4K)
I made this modular body of a mecha/droid on blender. each part took 5 hours to print on my photon mono. its designed to use no support system so you can print directly on platform. maximises for resin printer.
the bolt i use is 2mm diameter, 1cm depth. but all the botl placing lack height resulting the bolt to comes through the other side. this problem can be simply avoided by using shorter bolt. or adding printed cap.
i plan on making an extension of this modular design but for now this is the current progress.
im happy with the result but im aware of the improvement needed for the model. i hope for ideas and collaborations.
i have also designed its leg part but i need to refine the design before submitting it. so please support my effort. thankyou.
this is straight on base printing maximised for resin. i highly suggest using those magnetic flex base to print these for easier release and handling.
also if you use a small resin printer make sure to refill halfway. although its only took less than 190ml for each part however you dont wanna leave the tank dry on the last layers of the print.
