Description

The eight immortals are the eight Taoist immortals widely spread in Chinese folklore.

Han Xiangzi of Tang Dynasty, named Qingfu, is one of the Eight Immortals in ancient Chinese folklore. It is said that he is the nephew and grandson of Han Yu of Tang Dynasty. Han Xiangzi is good at playing the Dongxiao and worships LV Dongbin as his teacher to learn Taoism. It is said that the Taoist music smallpox introduction was written by Han Xiangzi.

It is said that Han Xiangzi is a handsome boy holding a flute. The Prime Minister of the Han Dynasty comforted a daughter named Lingling, who was both talented and beautiful. Han Xiang has been engaged. However, the Han emperor wanted to marry her to his nephew and appeased him. He firmly disagreed. The Han Emperor was so angry that he dismissed Han Xiangzi. Lingling died of grief. Han Xiangzi was born as a white crane. The white crane was enlightened by Zhong Liquan and LV Dongbin. He was also born as the son of Han Hui in Changli County. His milk name was Xiangzi. He lost his father when he was young and was raised by his uncle Han Yu. When he grew up, Han Xiangzi was taught the art of practice by Zhong and LV Erxian, but Han Yu strongly opposed it. Han Xiangzi became a monk and lived in seclusion in Zhongnan mountain to practice Taoism. He became one of the eight immortals. Han Xiangzi repeatedly transformed his uncle Han Yu, but Han Yu failed to realize it many times. Later, Han Yu was demoted to Chaoyang and passed through the blue pass. The snow was frozen and buried in the snow. Han Xiangzi rushed to rescue him and instructed Duhua. Han Yu finally realized and became an immortal.
