3D model description

TABLE TRASH CAN IN NOBLE SPIRAL DESIGN

The spiral is 880 mm. That is, only in a length of 880 mm, the spiral cord would have rotated once 360 °.

For this design, you can also use a lid ring with flat lid. Same is available in another offer here at CULTS-3D. Suitable for bathrooms, the flat lid significantly reduces odors.

Give a second life to smaller bags, the snack bags, etc. The size of the table trash can is designed so that you can reuse outer packaging to collect trash at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both chips, plastic, and paper bags from the bakery are suitable.

With this table trash can in a classy spiral design, you can collect the food scraps such as bones, cherry stones, nut shells and more at the dining table.

In the series of pictures attached, I show you what packaging waste you can give a second life.

Trash can data:

Container can: wall on the part: 2.4 mm. Printing time about 26 h, material quantity about 300g. Taper of the can: 1.8° angle.

Top container ring: Tapered wall from 2.4 to 4 mm.

Printing time approx. 15h, amount of material: approx. 155g

Rocker lid: wall 2.4 to 3 mm. Printing time, as only with support material, approx15h, weight approx. 102g.

Assembly: The holes for the lid axis have two lugs each. No, you do not get the axle pressed in from above.

It works better ,if you insert a lid axle into the axle hole on the side beforehand, press the ring lightly and just enough oval. Now insert second axis of the De4ckel into the second axis hole. Let the ring part become round again (do not press any more). Done.

Tip: Axles in the axle hole lightly grease with petroleum jelly. Can,. does not have to.

Enjoy your new little table or bathroom trash can. Your bags now have a second life until the filled trash bag is disposed of.

3D printing settings

Wall bucket and upper ring: 1.2 mm infill 23%.

Rocker lid: raft and support material. Support material with 16 to 20%.

After, allow 1 to 2h to remove and smooth the support material. Layer height for the lid I chose 0.16 mm with 0.4 mm nozzle.
