3D model description

Fit settings:
Adjust the size before printing according to your needs:
Extreme. Tight fit, you need to squeeze yourself between pads.
Sport Fit: scale up by 10-12%, will hold you well in all your jumps and tricks
Loose fit: 15% scale and up. Easy to get in and out, less control.

v5 - more comfortable shape, stronger back pad with no cut for firm breaking. As everyone glues that pad anyways I made is solid. Also there is a little concave on the front pad and ribs at the bottom for a better grip.

Version 3 - improved shape on the top - rounded corners for more comfort. AND - adjustable flex inserts to control how much flex you need in the FlexPads :)

FlexPads are amazingly designed EUC electric unicycle PowerPads. Using benefits of the 3d printer to print overhangs and supports.

FlexPads are ideally shaped to deliver maximum control, performance and comfort at the same time. The feeling from riding EUC with FlexPads is incredible.

Design features. what makes FlexPads amazing?
Front Bottom part of the pads is solid and shaped to provide ideal grab point on the ankle for jumping. Rear Bottom part is solid too to ensure no foot backsliding happens during the ride.
Now amazing part: top of the front and bottom pads are attached to the pads base only on the bottom - this provide comfortable flex when you push forward or brake.

Improved shaped V3 includes:
- better grip shape on the ankle. The best way to keep wheel in control during the jump is to lift it up with ankle, not the toes. FlexPads are providing prefect airtime control
- rounded tops of the from and back pads, no matter how hard you brake or accelerate -pads will never pinch you with a sharp edge

There are 5 main pads versions included:
- Flex Pads Solid 40mm v3 - solid pads as one piece, 40mm thick
- Flex Pads split line 40mm - solid pads with a cut line, in case you decide to split them later
- Flex Pads split line 50mm - same just 10mm thicker
- Flex Pads split line with inserts 50mm - pads with inserts, you will print a insert separately from the pads frame and will be able adjust Flex in the Pads on the go.
- all models now have stronger back pad (braking pad) for more reliable and controllable braking

If you printing for yourself, I recommend printing Flex Pads split line 50mm. And Adjusting the flex strength by setting a Gyroid infill in the range of 20-50% depending on your filament strength.
A95 TPU filament I print 20% for myself and it feels perfect.
optionally the settings modifier bar can be dropped on the part where bottom support ends (see pic) and set it to higher density like +10%.

Recommended to use A95 TPU

Includes PrusaSlicer project file with all settings and modifier bar.

Please use as an example and make sure to adjust for your printer and filament. You your best judgment and experience.
