3D model description

PLUS ULTRA!!!!

For diehard MHA fans who love All might, I present to you the Kamino Ward statue of All Might :)

This model is a not an exact replica of the statue featured in the manga/anime but is my own version of it. The likeness is close enough to be easily recognizable.

The words 'Plus Ultra' are featured on the base, written in Japanese Katakana: プラス Β· γ‚¦γƒ«γƒˆγƒ©

3D printing settings

Included are 3 files.

1) All Might statue and base.stl
I have not hollowed out this model for Resin printing so you would need to do that yourself. You can use programs like Meshmixer or Blender to do this and there are plenty of youtube tutorials to show you how.

2) All Might statue only.stl

3) Plus Ultra base only.stl

For FDM printing I would recommend printing the Statue only and Base only models seperately and then use super glue or some kind of expoxy to combine them together.

I printed mine at 0.16mm layer height with 70% infill, mainly because I wanted this model to have a good amount of weight to make it feel more like a metal statue. You could print this with as little as 20% infill if you like, but I would advise you to be careful with the 2 pieces of hair on top as they would break very easy. Feel free to scale this bigger or smaller, I have found it prints just as well as long as the base and statue are scaled to the same %

I made sure the base model has feet imprints in the perfect place to ensure All Might is placed evenly on the base.

Supports and brims are very important for the statue model and I would recommend adding more supports underneath his left armpit to ensure the print does not fail. I learned this the hard way when the first two prints failed because the left arm was not supported enough by the time the print got to the part where his left arm and body join.

For post-processing I used a small amount of acryllic metalic paint ( you can use a bronze, silver or gold paint) and drybrushed it on, then I used several coats of satin clear coat spraypaint to finish it off. I would recommend printing this in black or spray paint the model with black spraypaint (matte or satin spraypaint is best here). If you dont know how to drybrush I would look up drybrushing tutorials on youtube, there are a lot on there!
