3D printer file info

3D model description

The design is a homage to the Ancient Guardian for the video game "The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild".

The finished build is an articulate rendition of the design from the game that can occupy a 20cm by 30 cm cubic space.

All parts snap-fit together. The use of glue for decorative parts is optional but advised.

The package contains files required to print around 298 pieces for the build of the figure.

The Assembly Manual is included with the package.

Limb Assembly Guide Amendment

Crown Effecst parts

Screw type of connection makes connecting the head to the gear body easier. Just print the Neck_Bottom_Screw part with x/y -.04 or more for easy fitting.

3D printing settings

Sample prints in photos were printed on an Ender 3v2 with a .4mm nozzle using PLA from brands like Esun and Kingroon at Draft settings with a layer height of .2 to .24.

All parts besides the limbs were printed with supports enabled.
Sequential printing was used to print multiple parts.
Did not print with rafts of brim.
2-3 days printing for all parts using the ender 3 v2 at draft settings.

For the limb segments, set x/y compensation to a negative value for ease of assembly though the connections may be loose.
