3D model description

This is a micro quad frame and canopy that can be printed with common filaments (PLA and TPU) and flies really well! It is designed around the common AIO boards, and 1102 or 1103 motors (there are STL files for both). Cameras that will fit include the AIO types as well as the Caddx Firefly.

The frame has internal structure to increase the rigidity, but is not indestructible. I'm sure if printed in a carbon nylon material it would be awesome, but I'm happy with the PLA version.

The TPU motor pads / wire covers make the wiring neat, and adds a touch of class. Depending on your motor screw length, they may even be necessary to keep the screws from touching motor windings. Check to be sure!

NOTE: I removed the connectors and direct-soldered the motor wires to the FC. If you use connectors, you will need to use additional spacers above the FC grommets in order for the canopy to clear the motor connectors. You could easily print an extra set of FC grommets and cut them to length.

You will need four M2 nylon screws about 15mm in length to mount the FC and canopy, and 3 M2 nuts.

The battery is mounted using the TPU strap. Melt holes in the appropriate places to make a snug fit for your battery packs. It has some stretch, and works like a rubber band. See the photo of the bottom of the quad for clarification.

[EDIT Sept 11, 2019] Added new version of the 1102 motor frame with stronger motor pads. The original design was prone to breaking the pads off during crashes. Also added version for 16x16 stack and 4-hole (11xx) motors.
