3D model description

Box for keeping baby fish (fry) of live breeding species like mollies/swordtails separated from adults in the same fish tank, to save them from being eaten (and keep them in same warm and filtered water). Grill on the bottom keeps it clean.
1 mm distance between bars should be enough for mollies/swordtails and large guppies, for small guppies use 0,7 mm.
You only need it until babies grow large enough not to be eaten, a few weeks only, so I think it can safely be printed with PLA (no need for something extra safe like PETG).
Don't forget to place some plant inside to make cover for them (it calms babies), and feed them. I suggest not to keep more than 10-15 inside a single box.

You can attach it to the lamp or walls using loops on the top - by strings, wires, or just filament (it will fit, I checked). There are also hooks for glass walls included - for 4, 5, 6 and 7 mm thick glass. Long hooks are 2 cm longer, if your water level is not high enough.Their form should allows the use of glass cover (if you have it). I also added floaters (printed separately) that can be attached in the same loops.
There is a bigger box in my profile, as a part of a fish breeding box - you can use it separately.

You can use it to breed and keep small shrimps, like red cherries - with the same purpose of protecting them.
Or you can keep several Siamese fighting fish in such boxes (you can scale them up to add space), to benefit from storing them in a large single tank.

This is my first project posted, so any feedback is appreciated.

3D printing settings

62*82*99 mm
Printed on FDM printer (Ender 3 S1) with eSUN PLA in about 9,5 hours. I suggest slowing printing speed on lowest layer for better adhesion - instead of using glue or anything like that (for fish safety).
Most probably there will be stringing between bars - you can keep it as a net, or cut and remove. Anyway, it lets water through.

Probably can be printed on SLA, but hadn't tried.

Floaters take about 1.5 hours to print.
If you can't insert floaters in loops, squeeze latches a bit with fingers before inserting. I know they're a bit hard, but they fit perfectly and sit tight.
