// Cartesian type 3d printer ready to print. Cubicage 310x310x(310 or more).
Using three spools of PLA+ filament or another type of resistant filament, you can print the entire structure of this printer. Buy the components that you want and assemble a fully customized printer to your liking and needs from scratch, instead of buying a traditional printer and spending more money to adapt it.
This printer is also designed to reuse disused, but fully functional, components that we have stored in boxes from other 3d printers, so that we can recycle components to obtain a 310x310 printer at a very low cost. The Cartesian-type design allows us to have a stable print size of 310x310, at a contained cost, but we also have no height limit, since by printing more pillars, we can reach the height in Z that we want. You can use 8 and 10mm diameter smooth shaft rods, or replace some of these with stable MGH12 rails. We recommend using 10mm Y-axis smooth shaft rods for heavy prints.
In the downloadable file you will find: All the STL files necessary to print, an Open Office file with the material list, assembly guide images and a preconfigured marlin to compile and load on a TinyBee board. It has been designed to be simple and practical as well as modifiable in any aspect. In addition to keeping a low cost, designed for a MKS TinyBee electronics, low cost but fast and with everything you need.
We are working on the assembly videos (very simple and homemade) and soon we will upload them to our YouTube.
At the moment if you need help during the assembly you can go to Discord where they will help you as much as possible, remember that we live in different time slots.
REMEMBER:
Building your own 3d printer from scratch is an enriching experience, the design will allow you to be entertained for hours assembling components quietly and enjoying it, until you get the final result: Your 3d printer. And I want to remember that... yes, you need another 3d printer to print this :P but, any 220x220 3d printer is enough.
