My own take at a collapsible/retractable stock for the MP5 model by ZVC

It's far from 100% accurate - Especially because it's closer to the older version of the MP5 that had the short buffer and the selector swith area in style of the G3 (without the iconic bullet pictograms).
I used some pics, diagrams and videos of the real thing, but I couldn't find anything with enough dimensions, so I've just eyeballed most of it. I also simplified the mechanism, mainly by adapting it to use a compression spring (8mm external diameter, 30mm length) from a "generic hobbymarket spring kit" (instead of hard to source torsion spring it's supposed to have) and omitting the buffer mechanism entirely. There is also no means to prevent the stock from sliding entirely off if pulled too fast, which can lead to some comical situations.

Anyway, it does the job of looking reasonably acceptable, and it locks in the open position and with rails printed from 100% infill PETG is solid at least to a point of some airsoft guns (which isn't much, but you can at least grip the thing and look through the sights).

3D printing settings

I'm uploading a 3MF of the assembly and separate ones already oriented for printing and provided with some tweaking, mainly the fuzzy skin (works only in PrusaSlicer, would probably appear as random bodies in other programs)

I did mine with the "hardware" group in PLA, rest in PETG, 100% infill for the rails.

You'll need some hardware:
-A compression spring De:8mm, L0 30mm
-two 2,5x10mm woodscrews (or similar) to fix the "EndcapCover" to the "ReceiverEndcap"
-M5x30 countersunk bolt and nut to assemble the "Buffer"

The "BufferOuterTube" is supposed to be glued to the "ReceiverEndcap". The rails can be glued into the buttpad, but it should be a press-fit (I recommend PETG and 100% infill for the rails). There's no need to glue anything else.

The buttpad is not entirely my design, I remixed it from some old download - unfortunately I can't find the original creator (If you know who did it, pls let me know). That's also why it manifests as two separate bodies, you need to merge them in the slicer, i couldn't get Fusion to do it without errors :)
