3D model description

This is my rendition of the Estes Explorer Aquarius

This entire model prints in VASE MODE that is going to take some work to slice properly as any errors in slice could have fatal consequences to the print

Print the 40mm Test piece. make sure it looks right. slices right etc.. destroy it. make sure the SEAM is strong. it should take quite a bit of force to break it.

print 2 more. make sure they thread together.

If you print files 1 2 and 3 with a single 0.3mm bottom layer you only need 18 caps instead of 36 use CONCENTRIC external fill. it looks way nicer!! (all files print at 0.3mm except the nose cone print that at 0.2mm to start and 0.2mm near the top. vase mode for 95mm than regular with 25% infill.

If you can only print 200mm on Z you need to print 1s and the Interstage. if you can print 245mm or taller you don't need the interstage and can print 1L

It should just barely fly on D12's its a wee heavier than 200g plus your recovery and motor. you will need a 6" or so piece of 24mm Motor Tube to glue into the motor mount. nothing else requires glue. it all threads together. launch lugs built in kevlar hard points built in. the nose cone has a launch rod hole going through it so line it up with the lugs on Stage 1.

THIS HAS NOT FLOWN. no idea if its even stable or it will need mass for CG or not. (anywhere know where the CG is on the OG ?) I am not even sure this is the same dimensions as the OG. I kind of "eyeballed it" till it looks good and fit within my print volume targets.

If you don't print this vase mode its going to be way to heavy.

I have some videos explaining how to configure Prusa Slicer and Flash Print (flashforge)

I have had ZERO success getting these to work in Cura and Ideamaker. If you can get it to work let me know.
