3D model description

August Burns Red Band Logo Designed with or without LED Lights.
This was made for a Fan here in Houston and I just though I'd put it out there and see if anyone else liked it! I think it makes a great wall mounted piece of art. It can be used as just a Black and White sign or it can hold LED lights inside also. I designed it to hold ~16ft of LED lights. I drill a hole at the very bottom for the power cords. I use dowels to connect the body but I always reinforce the body with Soldering Iron melts to weld the pieces together.

For best results, use elmer's pro bond wood filler to fill in the small lines where the pieces connect, sand those down with finer and finer sandpaper until satisfied. Spray with primer, and paint the sign as you see fit. I would recommend using White on the Top part if utilizing LED lights. The body color does not matter but Black looks classy and METAL.

3D printing settings

--I used .2mm Quality settings on Prusa Slicer but I don't know if it matters.
--Also, I don't think it matters but For the Sign Body I use 15% Support cubic Infill.
--I did use a 1.5 to 2mm brim for the top black part (smallest parts) just to ensure the sharp angles didn't error.
--I used Anycubic PLA @200c but I honestly think whatever PLA filament you're comfortable with will print great.
--For the White Top I used 100% infill. I didn't want the square part of the actual LED light to shine through. I wanted a little bit of a foggy look to the lighting. However, on the pictures this was a different version of the design where I used a 2mm White top layer instead of 4mm (as designed).
