3D model description

Prepare the template for the soap. Here we’re using a shape cut from wood, but you could also use a potato.
Take a Mayku Cast Sheet from the pack.
Peel the protective film from the top of the sheet. Remember, you can put this into household recycling.
Place the sheet in the FormBox, and start to heat the plastic.
Place the template in the centre of the vacuum plate.
When the plastic is ready, you will see ripples at the edges of the sheet and a droop in the middle.
Form the template with the Mayku Cast Sheet.
Allow the mold to cool and gently pop the template out.

Melt small amounts of either white or clear glycerol soap in the microwave inside a heatproof container.
Use a few drops of soap dye and add scents for a variety of colours and fragrances.
Stir well.
You will need to let the mixture cool slightly so that it doesn't melt your mold. It’s cool enough when a skin forms on the soap.
Pour the melted soap into the mold to just below the brim.
Tap to remove any air bubbles.
Experiment with layering and mixing different colours and transparencies to create beautiful gem-like soaps.
Allow to set for 3-4 hours at room temperature.

Pop the soap out of the mold by applying firm pressure to the top of the form.
Wipe down the soap with a wet sponge for a high gloss finish.
Give your beautiful soaps as gifts or keep them for yourself to enjoy!
