3D model description

This is a five round speed loader for .38 Special or .357 Magnum. It was designed specifically for my Taurus 605 but should fit any revolver with a J Frame. (so I've read)

I tried a commercial speed loader but it hit the grip so it wouldn't work. I designed this one so one side was flat so it would fit without hitting. It takes some practice to line it up right still but it's better than nothing.

There are only three pieces to the speed loader and it is held together with a single 6/32 x1/2" button head screw. I tapped the hole before inserting the screw but you might be able to just self thread it in.

The lock has to be inserted correctly for it to work properly. It will fit in four separate ways but it will only work correctly in two of the positions so a little trial and error might be in order.

If the lock is inserted in one of the correct ways turning the knob clockwise will release the shells. If you prefer it to release with a counter clock wise twist like me just reverse it 180° when putting it together.

The nubs on the lock may wear out after time I haven't tested it that much yet.

There are two versions of the Body a Flat Side and a Round one. There is also two versions of the Lock. I single piece and I've included a two piece version (for easy printing) with the Punisher logo on top just for fun. (Super glue the two pieces together after printing.)

Notes:
I printed these with .10 layer height so they would be smooth as possible so the shells slide out. Some sanding still may be required.
