Do you miss a cd-drive in your laptop? Do you have an old laptop hanging around somewhere? If you do it maybe has a cd drive that you can reuse. I made a case for these drives. One has a screw on top and the other one can be glued on or friction welded. For the screw on model you will need 7 M3 screws (length up to 150mm). An adapter is also needed to connect the cd drive to a computer or laptop. I found one on aliexpress.
