3D model description

This is the Cuisenare set by LeHof. For those that have never heard of Cuisenares, they are simply blocks of differing lengths that can be used to teach addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to children. You can also use these to teach fractions, create simple graphs and build structures.

These blocks are metric, add a 1, 2, and 5 block together in a line; you can count the blocks to get 1+2+5=8 or, use the other blocks to compare length to arrive at the same answer 8. Or use a centimeter ruler to measure the length which will also equal 8(cm).

Included in the files is a zip file with enough of each block laid out for a basic set (this will definately save you time). But when lil' Timmy decides to jam one up his nose, I have also provided the individual blocks so you can replace any "lost" ones.

The standard colours for each block are included in the file name, but these can be used just as well with all blocks being the same colour.

3D printing settings

I suggest printing at least 2 perimeters, and infill of around 16-20%.

I have included the standard colours that these come in if you decide to print in different filament colours, or paint them. But they work just fine if they are all the same colour so don't stress too much about that.

Enjoy, and please upload photos of your "makes"
