Description
This is a puzzle in which the object is to reverse the positions of the chickens and the foxes. There are three chickens, three foxes, and three grain sacks.
The starting position of the foxes are poles A1, A2, and B1. The starting positions of the grain sacks are A3, B2, and B3. The starting positions of the chickens are A6, B5, and B6. To win the game, the foxes must be on poles A6, B5, and B6, and the chickens must be on poles A1, A2, and B1.
Rules:
- Only one piece may be moved at a time
- There may be no more than two pieces on a pole at one time
- Fox eats chicken--A fox and a chicken cannot be on the same pole. A fox cannot be on a pole next to a chicken, either vertically, horizantally, or diagonally. (For example, if there is a chicken on A1, there cannot be a fox on A2, B1, or B2).
- Chicken eats grain--A chicken and a sack of grain cannot be on the same pole. A chicken cannot be next to a grain sack, vertically, horizantally, or diagonally.
See if you can reverse the foxes and chickens without losing any grain or chickens!
