3D model description

I didn't want to put tapes all over my Kinect sensor, so I quickly drew up this lens holder to secure the reading glass lenses to try out the close distance scanning.

Spent quite some time changing the settings on ReconstructMe to get better results. What I noticed was that even though the lenses did help with the scan quality, but it's impossible to get a complete 360 degree scan of a person because the camera flickers too much and was too unstable to get a complete scan.

Putting this lens holder up here on Thingiverse in case someone might find it useful as well.

3D printing settings

The part needs to be printed on the side so there's minimum of support required.

Turn the model 90 degree either long the X or Y axis so it stands up.
