3D model description

This is my own design of Nanohack v1 Mask from copper3d:

https://copper3d.com/hackthepandemic/

the v1: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4231069

I find a couple of things to improve so i try to contribute to the

development with this one.

                   IMPROVEMENTS:

Two Filters with more airflow.

Better design of the nose, because the original one has air leaks, a little bigger...

Improve the design of the elastic band anchor, adding two holes to use for example with flexible material filament

Changes in the thread.

Chanches in the Cap of the filter to improve airflow and unscrew.

Recommend to use nonwoven fabric as filter

Cut the filter in 45cm diameter, see the in pictures how to install it

Accept up 3 layers of filter, but for better breathing use just one.

Please, share your prints and provide feedback!

POST PRINTING

  • Heat the NanoHack to 55º-60º C with a hairdryer or hot water. - The circular part has to be intact, that's why it's thicker so that it doesn't deform. - When softening, bring together the nose wings and adjustment wings located on the lower jaw. - You can glue or weld them to fix better if you want. - Heat it up again and put it on your face for final adjustments. - If you feel that there is some part of the mask that does not fit well or is too tight, you can put a small piece of soft rubber in the contact areas. - To fix the filters use the ring, you can use an additional ring to add other layer of filter. - Te size of the filter has o be 45 mm to overlap the ring as you can see in pictures. - you can use a circular piece (single or double) of a conventional mask (non-woven propylene) - Add the elastics/straps.
